Hawaiian Pineapple Burger with Lettuce and Red Onions Recipe

This Hawaiian-inspired burger is a tasty take on a classic. The juicy beef patty is seasoned with soy sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder before being topped with a sweet and tangy pineapple slice and crisp red onions. This burger, served on a toasted bun with fresh lettuce, is a flavor explosion in every bite.

  • Prep Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes

Instructions

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high.
  • Combine the ground beef, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  • Make four equal-sized patties out of the mixture.
  • Place the patties on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until done to your liking.
  • Place a pineapple slice on top of each burger patty and heat through during the last minute of cooking.
  • Grill the hamburger buns lightly while the burgers are cooking.
  • Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun before assembling the burgers.
  • Place a burger patty and a pineapple slice on top of the lettuce.
  • Place a few red onion slices on top of the pineapple.
  • Finally, place the top half of the bun on top of the burger.
  • Serve and have fun.
